A slow going project because I'm taking photos and screen caps as I work on it for a possible line art tutorial (or I should say 'example' cause it's nothing detailed) So anyway, I'll be coloring this tomorrow (just don't have time right now).
Now as to WHY I drew this... this is a scene from "The Death of Mr. Bunny" a little Wammy house fic about the boys... Mostly Near and Matt. Anyhoo, it started out a small little fic but I'm going to have to break it down into 2-3 chapters I think T.T I can never do small anymore... (and no I haven't forgotten about 'Dyme' i'm working on it ^_~ ) Ah, and I know those who have read chapter 109 of the Death Note manga (thank you ThePyrat for giving me that link!! XD ) well I know that Near said he'd never met L.......... but we're gonna say Near inherited some sneaky weasel lying skills from L as well  yus, HE LIES!!! <,< my art and fic are not incorrect.... *Stork-like eye twitching*~ Near and L from Death Note- Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. Also, maybe Near wasn't lying; maybe he was just too young to actually remember meeting L. Or maybe he met him and just didn't know it--in chapter 109, all that Wammy's kids saw of L was still just the letter on the computer screen, and his voice was probably garbled then as well, so...XD
