The second pic I just finished up for ~Vanshira

I have to say the thing I love most about this one... well- I mean I really love this... but the thing that tickled me the most was working on the books. I am so proud of those!

Axel is reading his little hentai mag that is actually featuring one of my own characters, Ginger. LOL I have a detail of the cover that I'll post in scraps. Mostly because I don't want people to think he's reading something about Ariel. Because that is NOT Ariel. [link]

and Roxas is reading the Silmarillion based on the copy I have here in my bookcase.

It's the tiny details that make me giddy XD

and here's the basic outline that Vanshira gave me of the setting (one of the reasons I love to do artwork for her, the descriptions she gives are wonderful!)

-Demyx is reading the Bharatiya Sangeet Vadya, the definitive text on Indian musical instruments (and only available in Hindi). Roxas is reading the Silmarillion. Axel is reading some sleazy hentai. Of course, he's sitting in the middle, and the other two have just caught sight of his reading materials. Reactions are as follows:

Roxas: Well, it's easy to tell who's NOT the brains of this outfit.
Demyx: Classy, Axel, real classy. Would it have killed you to find some decent hentai?
Axel: I don't love you jerks anymore.

Q&A Edit

I've been seeing this question popping up quite a bit, and I'm really sorry I wasn't clear on these and made it so confusing. To those who are looking at my recent pics for Vanshira and thinking this is my Demyx from Pain in the Axel and Dyme and the Dozen... it's not. This is Vanshira's Demyx muse... from her wonderfully written fanfictions. He's far more deep and detailed than mine, with a major background plot and everything. So the main way you can tell if it is my Demyx or Vanshira's Demyx is by the hearing aids... That and I mention Vanshira telling me the setting of the story and I'll link to her.... But just looking at the art alone, it's the hearing aids.

Her Demyx is also a bit more refined and classier than mine

My Demy would like to stuff his face with cheeseburgers while playing L4D and squealling like a little girl during the hords... and he also likes to pretend he's a rock star and play his sitar like an electric guitar.

[link] There's some of her fics... I highly recommend the Doctor Who crossover about the Vashta Nerada... I haven't been that scared by a fic in ages!

yeah I'm sorry I realized I've been confusing people lately because I'm not being very clear >.< But this is Vanshira's setting. She writes KH fanfictions and has been commissioning me to draw Demyx for her... the way he is written in her fics. I'm going to revamp my gallery and try to clearly mark things, so hopefully it's not so confusing.
