So the setting back story for this is best described by ~Vanshira (hope you don't mind me quoting you here)

Demyx would love to be enjoying the beautiful day, except Axel is busy leaning over the rail being horribly seasick. Demyx is patting his shoulder, trying to make him feel better, but he's also very conscientiously looking the other way, and he's probably turned his hearing aids off so he doesn't have to listen. All he's thinking is "why did I bring this guy along?"

I am insanely proud of this... and the caution sign was terribly fun to draw. Don't ask me why, but it was. It's there because Vanshira and I were trying to think of a way to block what you KNOW is happening.. yet still keep the railing clear so you could see Axel's arm hanging there. There were a few ideas being tossed around, but this seemed the most likely. Simply because I have seen caution signs on piers and boats/ships before. And I do remember that time I was on one of the old ships in San Francisco... They would always tell us 'don't run and keep your hands out of your pockets'.

they should put those on the old Navy Subs, man... Slippery and friggin steep. I cracked my head a good one and then slid down the stairs on my knees. <,< I think that was the same trip... I've been on too many ships/subs/boats to remember. They all run together now.

Point being, this made sense and served its purpose well. ^_~

I've been seeing this question popping up quite a bit, and I'm really sorry I wasn't clear on these and made it so confusing. To those who are looking at my recent pics for Vanshira and thinking this is my Demyx from Pain in the Axel and Dyme and the Dozen... it's not. This is Vanshira's Demyx muse... from her wonderfully written fanfictions. He's far more deep and detailed than mine, with a major background plot and everything. So the main way you can tell if it is my Demyx or Vanshira's Demyx is by the hearing aids... That and I mention Vanshira telling me the setting of the story and I'll link to her.... But just looking at the art alone, it's the hearing aids.

Her Demyx is also a bit more refined and classier than mine My Demy would like to stuff his face with cheeseburgers while playing L4D and squealling like a little girl during the hords... and he also likes to pretend he's a rock star and play his sitar like an electric guitar.
