"It's Squirming..." Listless black eyes stared at the wriggling creature dangling before them.

"Well Yeah, it's still alive... you gotta eat it while it's alive." The giddy Meer-nobody gave the caterpillar a shake, bringing about new determination in it's buggy little mind to escape it's certain doom.

"Demyx-kun... It's LOOKING at me..." The dark little meerkat grunted, his voice flat and emotionless, yet still stressed the fact.

"Oh come on! We're in the Pridelands, you have to do like the other Meerkats do, L!" Demyx lifted the critter and eyed it, "It's nice and fat too, you have to eat it before another Meerkat takes it away from you."

"Let them... the chances I would ever eat something alive are .01%" L curled in further into himself, his usual hunched posture in human form more pronounced and making him smaller in Meer-form.

"Come on! It doesn't have emotions..." Demyx lied, perfectly aware that all things do, but he was wanting his new friend to get the whole experience of Meer-ness.

"Neither do you. You want me to start chewing on you?" L snorted back, receiving an eye-roll in response to his smack.

L had won that round yet his stomach was now telling him he wanted sweet... badly. he could feel it grumbling at him under the hideous amount of dark fur that now covered him from nose to tail. He glanced up, "Is it sweet?"

"Mmmm, " Demyx thought for a moment, ears laying back slightly, "I dunno... my thoughts are more on Gooey... and kinda... mushy... and it pops when you bite it..."

"Not for all the chocolate in Willy Wonka's factory...." L gagged a little and then tucked his head between his feet, a typical Meerkat move that he found he liked very much.

Demyx sighed in exasperation, "Fine! More for me..." and with that he chomped into the wriggling grub. Silently chuckling to himself at finally finding someone worse at being a Meerkat than he was.
