why did I name it that? because this is the sketch of Sora and Kairi that I LOVE... LOOOOOOOVE.... and I'm too terrified to ink it. Back a while ago.... and some of you may remember this.. I had posted a journal entry about it cause I kept messing up on Kairi... well the sketch is done and I don't want to color it unless it's with photoshop. so I figure it will be a while so why not post the sketch.
*sigh* that was so cute when she hugged him... I really wanted to see this stupid look on his face then... hee hee
If you think about he could be looking at another girl in the distance in awe,
could be me, you never know,
But i do love his face and expresson, tis good!
What you can do is this:
Tint the scan a very light blue in Photoshop, then print it out and do trace and touch-up on the print out. Scan it, go into Photoshop and edit the Hue/Saturation so that the "Blue" selection is knocked all the way to the right on Lightness and Saturation scales. That should make all the blue disappear, leaving your touched up piece. If you still want to work on it some more, you can tint the whole thing (or just certain spots, I suppose) blue again and start over with the tracing.
I've saved pieces with this method. It's also how I save my butt when I start drawing and the figure goes off the paper because it turned out bigger than I wanted. It's also the method I'm adapting for figure drawing-- namely, I'm gonna draw the pose first, scan it and mess around with it in PS (mainly cleaning up lines with Brightness/Contrast and Levels), tint it and print it, then draw clothes on top and trace the skin that's left showing. Scan it, white-out the blue, and voilá! Inked-out art.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Inspiration is everywhere. You just have to really look and really listen to the world around you.
