He just came together so well, I'm so very proud of him. He's only my second attempt at plush making, but I must say he's my best and prolly will always be. I couldn't believe how quickly I was able to make him. Three days for his body and hair. Not sure how long it took for his clothes though... actually I guess I should say his clothes aren't finished. I'm making his school uniform jacket.
those jackets are a bugger. I don't really know how they work. I mean I've watched the anime closely, watched him buttoning it up and all that and I still think it's impossible. I could just sew it shut, but I want it so I can take it off just like his dress shirt. (yes it's got buttons... tiny little buttons.)
anyway onto his materials and all that.
In case you can't tell, this is Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass. He stands about... mmm... a little more than a foot... maybe 15 inches... when stretched out to his full length. He can sit by himself, but his legs are too noodle-like for standing. I tried to show that he's somewhat poseable in the images there. He can actually strike some really adorable little poses XD
He's made from mostly really sturdy (but soft to touch) felt. Hence the reason I call these plushes felt buddies. They can't really be played with... but minor handling is fine. The clothes are actually really nice synthetic silks. I'm not exactly sure what material the white dress shirt is, I forgot to look >.< I just thought it shimmered nicely and felt soft. (I really like my boys to dress flashy)
His face is painted on with normal acrylics and a heavy dose of fabric medium. (makes acrylics into fabric paints.)
That's about all I can think of for his details. I'll post another image of him when I finish his jacket... and perhaps his flight suit. (the white one he wears when piloting Lancelot)
~ Code Geass: Suzaku belongs to Bandai and Clamp (to name a few)
Ah! he's so cute! What a brilliant little pattern, now this is how plushie's should be, more move-able like rather then constantly looking like their doing star jumps. I really love his hair, nicely layered and everything. And your one of those brilliant painters where you get like 100 shades of one color to gradient, with paint!
He looks great, congrats!

I'm not very familiar with this anime (I know the title. That's about it) but I love how long he is! 8D He's very cute ^.^

Oh my gosh! He's so well made and cute! I made a Matt plushie from Deathnote once. He's so lovable and cute, but he's no where near this complex. He doesn't even have limbs. xD
